I&#8217;ll give you a first-hand look at how tiring it is to be a transit passenger when traveling to the US (first, you need a visa).At 4 PM on July 20th, I arrived at Dubai International Airport and waited for my transfer. Since I didn&#8217;t have a visa, I had to stay in the airport. Arabic is the primary language, and English, being both internationally spoken and the second most spoken language, ensures easy communication.Regarding currency, the AED (Dirham) is roughly equivalent to twice the Chinese Yuan. Dubai boasts a pleasant environment and tax-free goods, but its high prices are undeniable. At that time, China was still at war; how could they possibly build roads? We won&#8217;t go into the specifics of the journey, but the first thing I noticed when I saw Columbia University in NYC after getting off the bus was its simple and unpretentious design. My class was held in Hamilton, in an old building behind a huge hamlet.<\/section>\n<section><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-474 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youthtorch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/\u54e5\u59279-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.youthtorch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/\u54e5\u59279-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.youthtorch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/\u54e5\u59279-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.youthtorch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/\u54e5\u59279.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/section>\n<section>\n<section>\u867d\u7136\u662f\u590f\u6821\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u53d1\u73b0\u8fd9\u6240\u5927\u5b66\u91cc\u9762\u7684\u5b66\u672f\u6c1b\u56f4\u975e\u5e38\u81ea\u7531\uff0c\u6ca1\u6709\u4eba\u4f1a\u6307\u7740\u4f60\u7684\u89c2\u70b9\u53cd\u9a73\uff0c\u4efb\u4f55\u7406\u7531\u90fd\u662f\u53ef\u4ee5\u88ab\u63a5\u53d7\u7684\u3002\u5982\u679c\u8bf4\u56fd\u5185\u5927\u5b66\u5df2\u7ecf\u5f00\u59cb\u6ce8\u91cd\u7efc\u5408\u5b9e\u529b\u548c\u5b9e\u8df5\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u90a3\u4e48\u56fd\u5916\u4e00\u5b9a\u662f\u5b83\u7684\u5347\u7ea7\u7248\uff08\u5ba2\u89c2\u4e8b\u5b9e\uff09\u8fd9\u4e24\u5468\u7684\u591a\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u53bb\u4e86\uff1a(\u517c\u4e00\u4e9b\u4e2a\u4eba\u6d3b\u52a8\uff09<\/section>\n<section>Although it was a summer program, I found the academic atmosphere at this university to be very free. No one would point fingers at your opinions, and any reason was acceptable. If domestic universities have begun to focus on comprehensive strength and practical research, then overseas universities are definitely an upgraded version (an objective fact). Specifically, the competition between China and the US is inevitable\u2014it&#8217;s a contest between different political systems.
