Then we started running down the hill together, without glancing back at our long bench.<\/p>\n<p>The wind rushed past us, our laughter filled the night, and for a few seconds, it felt like time had stopped. We weren\u2019t thinking about packing, leaving, or saying goodbye. We were just seventeen, running down a hill with people who had become family in only three weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Looking back, maybe this is what made SLAI so special. It wasn\u2019t just the seminars, the discussions, or the places we visited. It was these small, unforgettable moments&#8211;the ones you never plan, but somehow remember forever.<\/p>\n<p>The summer was ending.<\/p>\n<p>But for one last run down the Hill of Three Oaks, we head down different paths in life, yet we leave the best of summers on the top of that hill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; The last night at Carleton.
